Prepare Chicken Thigh Or Chicken Breast
You can use boneless skinless chicken thigh or chicken breast for this recipe. If you are using chicken thigh then use it as it is. If you're using chicken breast then use a sharp knife to carefully slice the chicken breast horizontally into even slices
In a large bowl add all ingredients for the marinade and whisk all together to combine. Add the chicken in to the marinade and toss well to coat. Cover and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours up to 12 hours.
Stovetop: When ready to cook place a large pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 Tablespoons of olive oil to the pan. Add chicken slices and saute both sides until it is brown, crisp at the edges, and cooked through very well. Or Air Fryer: Cook in the air fryer until chicken pieces are brown and cooked through very well, 20-25 minutes at 380°c. Follow the instruction for your air fryer. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove from the pan and let it rest for 2-3 minutes, then slice in to long strips.
