Homemade Taco Seasoning
It is super easy to make homemade taco seasoning with ingredients that available in your pantry.

- 1/2 Tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder, Adjust to your spice level
- 1/2 Teaspoon onion powder or granulated
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder or granulated
- 1/2 Teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 Teaspoon paprika
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Take a medium bowl and add all spices. Mix all together
Store this in an airtight glass container. If you keep it in a cool dry place it stays fresh for up to one year.
Use 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning per one pound of ground meat.
- If you really like spicy you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper
- If you don't like spicy you can replace chili powder with Kashmiri chili powder. It has less heat than regular chili powder
- Use 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning per 1 pound of cooked ground meat.
