Basic chia seed pudding is so easy to make, just combine milk (almond, oats, cashews, coconut, or milk of your choice), chia seeds, and sweeteners of your choice topped with any fruits you like.

Cuisine American
- 1 cup Milk of your choice Almond, cashews, oats, coconut milk etc.
- 3-4 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or other sweetner of choice
In a bowl or mason jar, whisk the chia seeds and milk together first. To 1 cup of liquid, I typically add 3 Tablespoons of chia seeds. If you like really thick chia seed pudding then you can add 4 Tablespoons of chia seeds to 1 cup of liquid.
Once the chia pudding mixture is combined very well, then keep it aside for about 5-10 minutes.
After 5-10 minutes, stir or shake again to break up any chia seeds clumps before putting in the fridge. If you skip this step, the chia seeds will occasionally clump at the bottom, leaving you with a lot of liquid on top instead of a well-combined, creamy pudding.
Cover the container and place the mixture in the fridge for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Take out the chia pudding from the fridge, stir well, and serve in small bowls. Top with fruits of your choice like blueberry, strawberry, peach, mango etc.
- Add 1 tsp vanilla for flavoring (optional).
